Beaujoli, a home in the heart of New Aquitain
Beaujoli is a family home nestled in a three-hectare plum orchard in the countryside five kilometers from Agen in Southwestern France. The house was built as a farm building in the 17th century, inspired by Basque and Italian architectural styles. It is located along a country road on the hills of the Vallée de la Garonne and features a vast garden and a swimming pool. Beaujoli has been tastefully restored, mixing traditional and rustic charm with modern facilities. You have private access to the entire house and estate. I try to be as available as possible. I want my guests to be happy! I really want my guests to feel they are welcome and that we have lived up to their expectations. I live in the area and I’m usually around, and when I’m not present, you can get in touch with me on my mobile and my line is open 24/7. In any case, there’s a person in a nearby house who can come and take care of any problems when I’m away. Beaujoli is five kilometers from Agen. Nearby, there is a service station, bakeries, a pharmacy, a post office and a “tabac” in Colayrac (four kilometers). There’s a major supermarket two kilometers away and a big shopping mall nine kilometers away. The Agen train station is 10 minutes from the house and you can get to Paris in three hours by TGV. It’s easy to rent cars in nearby Agen (Avis, near the train station, for example). A bike is at your disposal. There’s also a place to rent bikes for bigger outings at the Canal du Midi.
