Welcome to our new fully self contained and well appointed 1 bedroom family unit in the handy central location of Waihi only 8 min drive to the beautiful Waihi Beach and 30 min drive to Whangamata and the doorstep to the world famous Coromandel . Our home is only a short 900 m to Waihi's main street with its many dining options and interesting and unique shops. Enjoy the gardens, make use of the guest BBQ and relax in the hot tub after a day of exploring our beautiful area. Our place is truly a hideaway, hidden down a long drive, away from the noise of the road. You can enjoy the gardens, peace and quiet. There is even a swing, see saw, slide and basketball hoop, yes a ball too, for the kids. Johnny the pet sheep is always up for a cuddle and photo opportunity. The hot tub is a great way to relax and unwind after a day of exploring what our special part of NZ has to offer. Guests are welcome to wander the gardens, make use of the shared BBQ and relax in the hot tub Either Mark or Myself, Jen, are almost always floating around and happy to answer any questions you may have. The Karangahake Gorge walkway and train ride handy, with prior arrangement and subject to ability we may be able to offer pick up or drop of for a small fee. Just ask when you get here. There is very limited public transport so your own vehicle or bike is definitely recommended. There are many things to see and do in Waihi itself within easy walking distance. Jen speaks Dutch
