A beautiful modern airstream with a spacious fully equipped kitchen, shower and flushing toilet. It is situated in a private field overlooking 5 tin mine chimney stacks with beautiful country views and spectacular sunsets. You have the option of a king size bed or 2 singles. The bed is large enough to also fit in 2 small children as well if you are happy to snuggle up! The central heating system ensures it is a lovely warm base to explore Cornwall in the autumn and winter months. WE PROVIDE BEDDING & BED LINEN FOR ALL STAYS, BUT DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE ARE TRYING TO BE AS ECO FRIENDLY AS POSSIBLE, WE HAVE DECIDED TO JUST PROVIDE TOWELS FOR STAYS OF 3 NIGHTS OR LONGER. The kitchen has a sink, a good sized oven, 3 gas burner hob and under counter fridge with freezer box. It is fully equipped with crockery/tableware, glasses, cutlery, cooking pots, pans and utensils, a hand blender, cheese grater, corkscrew as well as a selection of cooking spices/salt/pepper/sugar etc. There are spacious cupboards for food and clothes storage. We also have some playing cards cards, board games, puzzles and books. There is also hairdryer, small travel iron, some toiletries and cleaning products . This is a truly unique place in which to stay in an Airstream Trailer or Caravan in Cornwall. It is in the heart of one of the most historic Cornish tin mining areas with stunning views of the 5 tall chimneys and engine houses that nestle amongst the trees in the distance. FOR LARGER GROUPS OF FAMILIES OR FRIENDS! This is one of 2 luxury 'Bell Tents' and 1 'Airstream Caravan' sleeping a total of 8-12 people that we offer on the same exclusive spacious camping site. For whole groups taking all the lets as you respect our neighbours. PLEASE BE AWARE before you book, that in order that we respect our neighbours and your fellow campers - we have a strict 10.30pm MUSIC CURFEW and NO PARTIES PLEASE AS IT UPSETS OUR NEAREST NEIGHBOUR. We are available on site or by telephone to assist you. Chacewater is a traditional Cornish village with a bakery, general store and fresh fruit and vegetable shop that also sells local produce. There is also a fish and chip shop and a pub in the village. These are all a 10 minute walk down a quiet country lane. Its is in a beautifully rural location yet within quick and easy reach of all shops, amenities, beaches and water sport facilities. The nearest beach Porthtowan is a 10 min drive, it is the local surf beach with sand dunes at the top of the beach so you are able to go there for the day if you have a dog. Chapel Porth Beach is about the same distance and has the 'iconic 'Wheal Coates' Tin Mine' on the clifftop above the beach which is utterly spectacular and is a must visit, we take all our visitors there! Perranporth is a huge north coast beach where you can swim and surf. It is also one of the few beaches where you can do kite surfing, land boarding and buggying. You can horse ride on all the bridle paths and there are a network of walks, cycle or bridle paths direct from the Airstream. In fact you can walk or cycle to either coast, Devoran (south) or Portreath (north) on the Bissoe/Portreath old railway cycle path/walk/trail. Portreath is 7 miles and Devoran 6 miles. The Bissoe Cycle Trail is a Coast to Coast route starting on the Atlantic Coast at Portreath and finishes at the picturesque village of Devoran. The route is generally off road along an old railway, with some quiet lanes and is a popular route for walkers, runners and cyclists. Along the route you will discover one of the best conserved concentrations of historic mine buildings and contains wildlife, some of which only thrives in mining landscape habitats. A number of important mine buildings have been conserved in the area and linked by trails that follow as closely as possible to the original tramway and railway routes used to transport ore from mines to ports. These sign-posted, largely off-road routes have been specially created for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.
