2 Mile Lodge B&B Large Family Room

This room in 2 Mile Lodge B&B is suitable for up to 5 persons. It has 2 double beds and 1 single bed and is en-suite.The spacious and comfortable room has a large walk in wardrobe,Tea and Coffee making Facilities and a 32 inch flat screen TV. Included in the room price is a delicious breakfast each morning with lots of choices including Full Irish Breakfast,Pancakes,Bagels and more.... We have a lovely bright conservatory where breakfast is served in the morning. This room is always available for the guests use in the evening....many people often bring home take away food and wine etc and enjoy this space in the evening after a long day of sightseeing! There is a fridge in this area for guests to store food and drink. We are sorry but unfortunately our guests cannot use the kitchen for cooking their own meals as we are not registered as a hostel. At the top of the house we have a small seating area with some books,games and toys which is especially popular with our younger guests!! As this is also our home,I am always available if needed and love to give ideas and advice on what to do and where to go! The vibrant town of Kenmare is a 4 minute drive away and well worth several visits!...We are really spoiled for choice with gorgeous restaurants and cosy pubs featuring some great local musical talents. I do suggest that if staying here with us you need to have a car as we are situated outside of town.Also it is best to have a car for exploring all the beautiful areas for example The Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. It is about a 25-30 minute walk into Kenmare town and the road can be quite busy especially in the summer. Taxis are available which I will happily order for you on a night out!
