Entire country Cottage facing the South Downs and Wildbrooks with parking, front and rear gardens and close to pubs, walks, cycles, Arundel and the beach. Ideal for All Goodwood Events including Horseracing and motor racing; Goodwood revival, Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood and the members meet. Delightful pubs in the village for top -rated dining, views and beer. You will have complete access to the available rooms in the house which comprises of one Super King Size vaulted bedroom, one double bedroom with en-suite and one double bedroom. All rooms have spectacular views either over the brooks to the front of the house or Amberley Mount and the South Downs to the rear. The house has 3 modern bathrooms all with showers and two lounge areas plus kitchen diner and large patio area - perfect for sitting outside in the summer months on rattan sofa and dining sets whilst admiring the views of the Sussex Downs. Newly decorated 2020. The property backs onto farmland and the South Downs and the wildbrooks to the north. The Sportmman Inn is the local pub which serves food and excellent ales with spectacular views. There is a tea room in the village, a village shop and post office and access to the South Downs and Wildbrooks. There is also another pub called the Black Horse which serves breakfast, lunch and tea/coffee all day. The house was completely remodelled in 2016 and affords a south facing vaulted bedroom with oak beams, a north facing bedroom overlooking the front garden and wildbrooks, a double bedroom loft room with en-suite. Guests can enjoy all-but two rooms in our 5-bed house. This includes a south facing 'garden room', a snug tv room with log burner, a well-kitted out modern kitchen with dining and seating areas. A particular feature is the large south facing terrace with sofa set and dining area. This has views to the South Downs directly opposite. Key can be accessed without a meet and greet. Amberley is the "pearl of Sussex" being the prettiest village in the area. We are lucky to live right opposite the local pub, The Sportsman who do very good food at reasonable prices. Best to book in advance! There are many walks and sights to see in the local vicinity, including the famous South Downs Way on our door step. The Amberley working museum plays host to various events throughout the year, and we are very close to Goodwood and Arundel (10 mins). Amberley station which goes directly to London Victoria is a couple of miles away. There is one pre-bookable taxi in Amberley. We have one cat who would be resident during your stay. Note: We do have a small dog, who will be with us or in kennels during your stay.
