Sheffield Pioneer Holiday Unit B

The Sheffield Pioneer Holiday Units are situated in the heart of the mural township of Sheffield, Tasmania, within walking distance to all facilities. Each unit is fully self contained accommodating 1-10 people in five bedrooms. Free WiFi is available. Central to many tourist attractions including Lake Barrington, Mount Roland and Cradle Mountain. Ideal for groups visiting Sheffield for rowing events. Perfect for mountain bike riders as bikes can be safely locked in a section of the house. Guests use the front door to access the building. There are two steps to the front door and 3 internal steps to the bunk rooms. As we live next door we are available to assist in any way. it is always nice to meet the guests and hear about their travels and all the interesting places they visit. There is ample parking in front of the houses and the Information Center is only 10 meters away. The volunteers at the center are always very helpful and very knowledgeable about the tourist attractions in our district. Our neighborhood is very quiet with only one house and our own home. We are in a cul-de-sac which prevents any through traffic and lends itself to being very safe and peaceful. The Information Center is at the beginning of the street and Mural Park is next door. We are situated in the heart of the township of Sheffield. There are adequate facilities in the town from restaurants to a supermarket, chemist, newsagent and a bank. You can leave your car at the accommodation and enjoy a stroll around the town looking at all the murals and enjoy some local food and coffee. A very pleasant place to explore and with many opportunities for bush walking in the area. Our holiday houses are very central to coastal facilities. One hour to Launceston, 30 minutes to the Spirit of Tasmania, 50 minutes to Burnie, 1 hour to Cradle Mountain and 3 hours to Hobart. Sheffield is a great place to call home while you are sight seeing around the coast.
