This romantic one bedroom apartment enjoys majestic sea-views. On the top floor of a stone-built family house, it has a private entrance and is beautifully decorated and well equipped, offering unforgettable views, a large living space and a great location (within short walking distance to Old Town (2min), the seafront (3min) and town centre (5min). The place is great for couples, friends, solo-explorers or business travellers (we offer fast internet and there's a co-working space nearby). This large, unique one bedroom flat mixes modernity and tradition and offers contemporary amenities within lovely surroundings, including stunning sea-views. The living room is filled with sunlight all day and enjoys a spectacular view of the entrance to Boka Bay. It is a large room (30sqm) and its quality features include beautiful floor tiles, some lovingly restored traditional furniture, a 3-seater sofa bed & coffee table, and armchair, original works of art and modern amenities. It also offers cable TV, fast WiFi, and a well equipped kitchen-diner. The place has two balconies. South balcony is an extension of the living space, furnished with a coffee table, chairs and a swing-sunbed, and offering the majestic sea-views. The north balcony provides a private entrance to the apartment. There is a spacious double bedroom, featuring a new king-size bed, two built in wardrobes, large mirrors, bedside cabinet, and quality oak floor. The bathroom is large and includes a walk-in shower, bidet, a sink, toilet, ample storage cupboards, a washing machine and a vanity unit with a large make-up mirror. It is an attractive bathroom but an attic bathroom which means that there are spaces where one can walk tall, such as: at the sink, at the make up mirror/vanity unit, in the walk-in shower, toilet etc... There are also places where one has to remember it's an attic bathroom, such as: when entering and when taking the washing out of the washing machine and straightening up suddenly, after bending down to open the washing machine door. This lovely apartments is an ideal holiday home for those who wish to forget the fast-pace of big cities and their busy working lives. Here, you'll relax instantly, and gazing at palm trees and the bay, you'll not want to leave... Guests can use every part of the apartment. We meet guests on arrival but let them enjoy their privacy during their stay. If assistance is needed, we're a phone call away . Our location is called Savina; it is green, quiet and safe, with private family houses and gardens, great for children, couples and all those wanting to stay in authentic, romantic, old neighbourhoods, but close to town amenities. It's 3min walk away from the nearest beach, pedestrian Old Town, and the main town square. Bellavista Square is 2 min away on foot; this is a great place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening meal. There is a relaxed, reasonably priced restaurant, 2 min walk away from the apartment. From here you can walk to the seafront, the open-air cinema on Forte Mare fortress; or west through the Clock Tower, reaching the main square, and the lively farmers market. The old Turkish fortress Kanli Kula is about 100m away - nowadays this is an open air theatre offering spectacular sea-views. Savina and Old Town are lovely locations, steeped in local history and culture. Herceg Novi is best seen on foot, but it's also well served by public transport. The main coach station is 10min walk away and the nearest bus stop is about 5min walk from the house. Tivat, with its smart Porto Montenegro marina, Budva with its stunning sandy beaches, Kotor & Dubrovnik, with their unique architecture, are all within easy reach. On arrival day we take a 150 euro 'damage deposit' in cash. This is returned on departure day, if there has been no damage or loss in the property during guests' stay. Local laws: it is a legal requirement in Montenegro that all guests be registered at the Tourist Office within 24 hours of their arrival, and guests over the age of 12 pay tourist 'stay tax'. The tax is 1 euros per day for each adult over the age of 18; half of that i.e. 50 cents for each young person between the ages of 12 - 18; and the children under 12 do not pay. We deal with this procedure for our guests, so they don't have to worry about it.
