Unwind Holidays presents: - Taranaki Relaxing Eco Suite - Comfortable self-contained unit with a separate Queen bedroom. Located just 4 km south of Stratford, Taranaki. The Taranaki accommodation consists of 6 well-appointed one-bedroom units and 4 studio units set out on 5 acres of park-like grounds. Access is handy to many attractions and activities. Wireless Internet is available. Offering views of Mount Taranaki (Egmont), every room comes with a flat-screen TV with more than 50 satellite channels, including sports channels. There are cooking facilities in each room, including complimentary tea & coffee. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer. We have recently built and installed a new wooden playground area for our younger guests to burn off some energy. Parents can sit and relax at our reclaimed Macrocarpa table and watch the littlies play whilst taking in the view of the mountain. Enter the Enchanted Woods, created to provide an escape from the hustle & bustle. Sit and enjoy a BBQ in our peaceful hidden gem. The trees are lit up at night to show the true magical mystery of the Enchanted Woods. New Plymouth, the main provincial centre of Taranaki is only a short drive which is also adjacent to the national airport and bus routes. So relax and spend some time in this wonderful part of the world. Mt Taranaki is popular for climbing and includes a ski field with access road near us. Egmont National Park is also renowned for its many tramping (hiking) tracks. Some great public gardens are within reach such as Hollards Gardens Kaponga, a garden started in 1927. Pukeiti, New Zealand’s premier Rhododendron garden set in lush rainforest in Egmont National Park, and Pukekura Park, having a unique botanical landscape within a native lowland forest and lakes. There are also several renowned private gardens around Stratford and Taranaki. Taranaki Pioneer Village is a unique museum with historic buildings and features where you can experience life as it was 100 years ago. A few lakes and rivers are not far away for swimming, boating, bush walking, and Trout fishing. More information is available on adventures and attractions in Taranaki Check-in time is from 2 pm to 8:30 pm and check-out time is 10 am. The front desk is open daily from 8 AM - 8:30 PM. If you are planning to arrive after 8:30 PM please contact the property in advance using the information on the booking confirmation. Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival.
