Magpie Retreat Berrima

Magpie Retreat is an independent studio, part of a separate pod of our architect designed, contemporary home. We are on 1.5 acres overlooking the Wingecarribee River, the village of Berrima and beyond. It is 1 km into Berrima where you will find cafes, restaurants and specialty shops and 4 km to Bendooley Estate. We moved into our new home in May (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) We have double glazing, polished concrete and underfloor heating plus there is a reverse cycle air conditioner in the Magpie Retreat. The kitchenette is equiped with sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. There is a private terrace area and BBQ is outside the accommodation. A loaf of sourdough bread along with jams is supplied plus tea, coffee milk and butter. Guests are free to stroll around our native garden. The garden is already attracting a variety of native birds. A friendly magpie family lives in one of the established eucalypts. There is a BBQ available for guests to use. We live in the adjoining house and will most often be around to answer any questions or have a chat. We will probably be working in the garden! There is a nature reserve at the end of our street where you can walk down to the river and the weir. There are walks accessible from the village centre which is a 10 minute stroll from accommodation Car parking is available on site about 10 metres from accommodation. We recommend you keep the bathroom door closed at night to eliminate any eventual transference of noise.
