Tastefully decorated comfortable room in a large Victorian house, with 2 single beds or a superking, sleeps 1 or 2 guests, we also have another room with a double bed that sleeps 1 or 2, so can accommodate 4 guests at once for larger parties if required. There is plenty of storage for clothes etc. There is a bath/shower & toilet on the same level. The room has a television, wifi, tea & coffee making facilities, we do provide a continental style breakfast but there are a number of lovely cafes and eateries a couple of minutes from the house should you require something more substantial. The guest bedroom and the bathroom on the same landing are for your use, the kitchen may be used for access to the rear for sitting out or smoking, if we are around, you are more than welcome to join us for a brew and a chat. We also have a large front lounge, if we are in there come and join us, if we are not there please feel free to use the space anyway. My husband Steve and myself will be available throughout your stay should you have any issues or queries. We are happy to interact but are equally happy to give you your space if you wish. Morecambe is well known for it's breathtaking sunsets and amazing views accross the bay. We have the famous Art Deco Midland Hotel as featured on many t.v. programmes and the beautiful Winter Gardens. Morecambe also hosts many festivals, Vintage by the Sea, Steampunk, Catch the Wind kite festival, regular Northern Soul week-ends, Nice 'n' Sleazy Punk festival, Morecambe carnival and many other festivals hosted throughout the year. Stroll along the prom with your fish and chips or go to one of our many cafes and restaurants if you prefer a 'sit down' meal. Visit the Festival Market (Tues, Thurs, Sat, Sun & summer bank holidays) also the outdoor market on Sundays. Morecambe has something for everyone. Our house is very close to bus routes to Heysham village, Morecambe town centre and Lancaster. We are only 5 minutes walk from Morecambe railway station. By car we are approximately 30 minutes from Kendal in the Lake District ,15 minutes from Lancaster, 15 minutes from Leighton Moss wildlife centre and 30 minutes from The Forest of Bowland. Our home is a no smoking zone but if you do smoke we have an area at the back where you are welcome to go and have a cigarette. We do not have any pets so no pet hairs or allergies to worry about.
