The Stable Cottage - cosy, quiet self catering
Horseshoe Inn House was once the village pub, but now provides quiet and relaxing self catering accommodation in The Stable Cottage, an annexe to the main house. Situated in the hamlet of Brooms Green, on the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire borders, 4 miles from the historic market town of Ledbury. There is plenty with walking, visiting historical places, local events such as an annual Poetry Festival, events at Eastnor Castle or visiting the towns of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester. The Stable Cottage is on the ground floor with it's own separate entrance. There are 2 double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. Bedroom one has a king size bed and bedroom 2 has a super king size bed, which can be split into 2 single beds. There is a dining room, conservatory and comfortable lounge for you to use. The kitchen has a fridge, dishwasher and a washing machine/drier. A large garden, with a BBQ and extensive car parking is available. The Stable Cottage is attached to the main house but you will have privacy and space. We can offer secure storage for bikes. We have a large garden which you are free to use and enjoy. We are both on site, in the main house, should you have any questions or need any help. I greet guests on arrival and show them where everything is and I’m there for the check out too. Brooms Green is a small hamlet and is a quiet and peaceful place. There are plenty of walks locally, following the footpaths. We are 4 miles from Ledbury, the local market town, and 2 miles form Dymock, which has the nearest pub. Ledbury has a number of good eating places and there are plenty of local pubs that we can recommend. We live in a beautful part of the country and are near to Wales too. Public transport is poor so a car or a bike is essential. We can arrange taxis for you if you wish to go out for the evening. We do have a cat who likes to make friends. Please note that we do not take pets.
