Our street is a mix of residential and holiday homes on the edge of Portarlington. The town comes alive in the holiday period and for peak events such as the Mussel Festival and the Celtic Festival. There is a public bus that runs from St Leonards to Geelong. The bus stop is on the main road about 100m away. (St Leonard Route 60) It is a 20 minute walk into the town. The ferry runs daily between Portarlington and Docklands in Melbourne (Port Phillip Ferries) Please note that there is No WIFI. I use my mobile phone hotspot. The TV is supposed to be SMART. The instruction manual is in one of the white side tables. The outside yard is shared space. If any of our family are down they may be mucking about in the back yard and rear lane with the boat and if they're lucky...fish! You might have the place to yourselves if we are not staying upstairs.
