Uplands -Great Group Accommodation

This is an excellent centre for families and groups wanting to explore the countryside, sea or Dartmoor. Situated in a quiet village with Slapton Ley Nature Reserve on the doorstep. This Georgian house has recently been renovated, creating a lovely homely atmosphere. It boasts a new kitchen/dining area and 5 newly decorated bedrooms, sleeping 25. The centre is very close to the village shop and 2 pubs. The beach is 10 minutes by foot from the centre and accessible by car. You will have the whole building to yourself with 2 sitting rooms, equipped with a TV and a pool table. The kitchen has undergone a facelift and has been extended and refitted. The house has 8 rooms and can sleep up to 25. There are 3 semi ensuite bedrooms, 1 ensuite bedroom and 4 bedrooms with shared facilities. Wifi is available throughout the house. The garden is large enough to host a BBQ. We operate a 24hr on call system during a stay. Uplands is located in the village of Slapton very close to a couple of pubs and a community village shop. The beach is 10 minutes by foot and the National Nature Reserve is on your doorstep. It is a quiet village with Kingsbridge and Dartmouth a short drive away. There are Cafes and pubs at one end of Slapton beach or if you fancy a quieter area you can head to to Strete Gate where there is a mobile coffee van. As you can imagine with a rural location public transport is limited. There are buses to Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Plymouth from the seafront. We are about 40 minutes from Totnes station. We are located on the South West Coast Path so this centre would make an ideal overnight stop for walkers. We have excellent cycling routes in the South Hams and are often visited by cycling groups who stop off for a night. Slapton Sands is on your doorstep and you have another 4/5 beaches also very close by. Woodlands Theme Park is just outside Dartmouth.
