In our daylight-flooded maisonette on the slopes of Mount Cetona, you will find a balcony with an amazing panorama over the Chiana Valley, Umbria mountain chains, the picturesque town of Città della Pieve, and in good weather even Cortona and Lake Trasimeno. An perfect place to reminisce of the day with a glass of wine from the region. Enjoy your stay without disturbing WiFi and TV. Read some books, bring your own stories to paper or relax in the nearby Termal springs of San Casciano dei Bagni. The apartment is spread over 2 floors and is designed in a way that no air conditioning is required. On the first floor are the kitchen with gas stove and the living room. Let yourself be inspired by Italian and French cookbooks. A very large skylight with motor provides daylight. For colder days, a wood oven is available. If necessary you would have to buy woodbrickets in the nearby Chiusi. Through a door you enter into the bedroom with a sky bed, wardrobe (of which a part can be used) and balcony. If you would like to write, two desks are available in the bedroom for all future authors. You will find books in German, English and Italian. The second floor is reached via steep stairs. Caution: The room height here is lower than on the lower level. You will find an open wardrobe with clothes boxes, a day bed for relaxing, a further desk and the bathroom with a walk-in shower. Due to the air circulation, the bathroom does not have a closable door. Piazze itself is a small village between San Casciano dei Bagni in Tuscany and Citta della Pieve in Umbria, located on the slope of Monte Cetona. Ideal for hiking, mountain biking and excursions to the Orcia Valley. Your car is only a few steps away, safe in the free car park below the house. In the village you will find a butcher, a supermarket, a bar and a restaurant. For emergencies, a doctor and a pharmacy are also within easy reach. There are barbecue facilities in the vicinity of the village; some also with drinking water. After showering, please open the window to the roof. Because the air circulation in the bathroom, the glass building windows always leave open. The weather in Tuscany can change quickly, so always close all windows and doors before leaving the apartment. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment, but you can smoke on the balcony. For music, a Marshall system with Bluetooth and jack plug is available. Please consider the neighbours when choosing the volume. After 22:00 clock only low volume! The washing machine and the fireplace cannot be used for safety reasons. Please switch on the hot water boiler only before use (approx. 10 minutes before) and then switch it off again. Help to protect our environment that way. For waste separation (glass + PET, paper + cardboard, organic, residual waste), you can find the recycling station below the house, directly at the free parking lot.
