Our home is close to the city centre, parks, great views, Fort William Town (10-12 min walk) and the Best mountain biking shop in town! . You’ll love our place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, the neighbourhood, the light. Proximity to all amenities, Friendly family (3 young dogs & an 11 year old boy) Short Walk to Old Inverlochy Castle and loch Linhie. Our home is a smoke free environment. Whilst smokers are welcome I would ask that if/when you smoke you do so outside. There is a covered area (lean too) attached to my house that visitors can use for smoking or for hanging/drying damp clothes or equipment. There is also ample storage for bikes, skis etc. Guests are welcome to use our wifi and will also have access to a shared bathroom with shower facilities. A kettle with tea/coffee, breakfast cereals, oatmeal and croissants will be provided for you in your room for your easy access and convenience. I work locally and so am available to our guests if/when needed. I have a basic knowledge of Spanish and Tagalog (Filipino) so International visitors who don't speak very good English are very welcome! Inverlochy is a really nice neighbour hood. Beautiful surroundings with lots of trees, greenery and areas for children to play. Nevis Cycles Mountain Bikes are situated across the road and we have a local pizza and fish and Chip Shop near by. Inverlochy village is strategically placed to Fort William town. It will take the average person 5 minutes to walk into town. Equally, our home is right next to the local bus stop which will take you to any of the surrounding villages. For those with a car there is a small public car park across the road from our house and you can park very safely there. PLEASE NOTE:- Our visitor's room is upstairs and next to the bathroom. As a local to the Fort William area I have a very good knowledge of all of the surrounding areas. I have local ordinance survey maps (for walkers and climbers) and local bus/train time tables for the more general tourist. Inverlochy village is also enroute to Aonach Mor which is our local Mountain Range for Ski-ing, the International Mountain Biking Competitions and other adventure tourism activities. Equally, we are central to the more contemplative aspects of the Highlands; Glens, Lochs and the famous Neptune's Staircase and the Caledonian Canal.
