Champs et Montagne

Our property is in a beautiful location with amazing views over the fields and mountain. Set on the edge of the village of Puivert 2 mins from a swimming lake. The village has a depot de pain, 3 restaurants open in the summer months. The accommodation is completely separate although we live at the rear of the property. We have 3 bedrooms 2 with twin beds and the 3rd a kingsize bed all with lovely views. You will have access to your own private garden with table and chairs and a barbeque. We have secure parking at the front of the house so no need to worry about parking in a street. We are on hand to give you any information about the area and local events. Equally so we respect your privacy but we are around if you need us. If you are looking for a vibrant nightlife then Puivert would not be for you but if you want a relaxing holiday great place for children the lake is safe and a lifeguard is on duty in July and August. Lots of places to visit historic Miropoix is only 25 mins away. The coast is 1 hour the mountains on your doorstop. I would say you definitely need a car to get about although we have a shop in the village the larger supermarkets are 10 - 15 mins away. The area is good for walking and all outdoor activities. The cathare area is very interesting and there are a lot of castles to visit with the first being ours in Puivert. Bikes can be hired nearby at montbel.
