A lovely non-smoking studio (36 sq m, no balcony) in the city centre with a river Danube view - your Bratislava home :) Great holiday feel, especially in the summer. 10 minute walk to the historical part of the city. Shopping, cafés and restaurants within 50 m distance. We appreciate everyone interested in our offer but if you intend to disrespect the house rules and smoke on the premises, please consider booking a different apartment. Thanks :) Studio is situated in a modern area of the city by the river Danube with plenty of shops, restaurants and places of interest nearby. It is neatly decorated and well equipped with everything we thought you might find useful during your stay. There is a memory foam topper on the bed for your comfy sleep. Looking forward to meeting and hosting you soon! :) No smoking inside or out of the window, also no open fire in the apartment please. Please remove your shoes before entering the apartment. The shoe cabinet is just behind the door on the bottom. There is no balcony in the apartment. Tap water is safe to drink in Slovakia - we have one of the best quality water in Europe. Feel free to make yourself coffee or tea - you'll find it in one of the kitchen cabinets, coffee cream is in the fridge. For the dishes use the dishwasher - 30 min programme with half a tablet or just leave them as they are, we'll take care of it later. If you need to use the washmachine, we are happy to provide detergent and come run the washmachine/dryer. In case wifi suddenly stops working, just plug the router off and in again. It's on the floor between the sofa and the window. For watching TV, just turn the TV on with a white remote control and turn on the cable (a small black box) with a black remote - you change channels with that. Some programs are available for watching in English (or other languages) - press the AUDIO button on the black remote and choose the preferred option. Bring the card I give you with you at all times - it opens the entrance door downstairs. For each guest we provide two pillows, a blanket, bed linen, a face towel and a body towel. There are more pillows and blankets in the closet. Extra covers on demand. When you find out there is something not right in the apartment (something is broken, not working, missing etc.), please let me know straight away so we can sort it out as soon as possible. Thank you! There is a grocery shop (Billa) in the mall on the -1 floor just behind the moving stairs. There are few shopping bags in the bottom right drawer if you don't fancy buying a new one :) Check in is usually after 3pm, still, if the apartment is ready, you can check in sooner. In case it's not (but will be at 3pm latest), I can give you a key and a card and will message you when it's all ready. Check out is at 11am. Please leave a key and a card on the kitchen counter and message me you are leaving so that I can go check the apartment. Please make sure the lights, the A/C and appliances are off. Thanks! From the airport take the bus no. 61 to the central railway station. There is a trolleybus no. 40 from/to the central railway station (last stop - Nové SND) or a tram no. 1 to the stop Šafárikovo námestie. Buses no. 78, 40 take you to the main bus station. Bus 29 goes straight to the Devin castle - one of oldest castles in Slovakia. Getting here from the airport: I do not really recommend airport taxis as they charge 25€ for a ride. Also I do not recommend using public transport asi it takes much longer but if you're interested I can send you info how to get here using it. When you let me know you are at the arrivals I can call you a taxi that will bring you here. Other options are Bolt/Taxify app of a local Hopin app that will find taxis near you. Tell the driver to take you to Eurovea and drop you off at the egg shaped glass building. After you leave the taxi, go to the riverside and then just follow instructions from my message :) Getting here from the central railway station: From the central railway station (Hlavna stanica) you can take a trolleybus no. 40 - you need to buy a 0,70€ ticket per person in the vending machine and mark it when you enter the bus. The ride takes about 12 minutes. Leave the bus at the last stop - Nove SND and go through the shopping mall (Eurovea) to the riverside. I don't recommend taking a taxi that's waiting at the station as those can get as expensive as 15 euros. Still, if you decide to do so, tell a driver you want to go to Eurovea and drop you off at the egg shaped glass building that you'll be able to see easily. There is also an option of using a Bolt or an Uber car for your ride - 6-10 euros or a local app Hopin where you can look for cars near you. I'm sorry but we do not provide parking. There is public parking lot in the building - it is free for 3 hours during weekdays and for 5 hours during weekends, every next hour costs 3,50€. Besides that, there is parking available on the streets - weekdays 8am-4pm cost 1,20€ per hour, other times are free. The nearest free parking spot is on the other side of Danube by the Old Bridge (Green bridge). It's approx. 10-15 min walk.
