Extensively refurbished in the summer 2019, the Cottage is a 2-bedroom house situated just 2 miles away from the very picturesque village of Lochwinnoch, and yet very conveniently located to reach Glasgow Airport in under 15 minutes, Glasgow City Centre in 25. The accommodation includes a stylish open plan living/dining room with a cosy wood-burning stove and a fully equipped kitchen, a master bedroom with ensuite, and a second family bedroom. The Cottage at Mid Auchengowan has undergone an extensive renovation and has been ready to welcome guest since August 2019. The elegant open-plan living space measures 70 sqm and includes a modern kitchen equipped with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, NESPRESSO VIRTUO coffee machine and fridge freezer; a dining area and a comfortable lounge with two sofas, wood-burning stove and Juliet Balcony to enjoy the beautiful views over the Loch. The open plan living space and bedroom arrangements can comfortably accommodate up to six people, ideal for a wide range of guests from couples, families to groups of friends. Please note that there are no blackout blinds in the lounge area with the two sofa beds. It is one of two units available for rent at Mid Auchengowan: the two spaces can be booked together for larger groups of up to 9 people. If you are looking for a spacious and stylish rural retreat then this is the place for you. The Cottage is also equipped with everything you need to enjoy and relax. The wood-burning stove will be ready for you so that autumn/winter breaks are toasty. A travel cot and high chair are available for use, please ask before your stay if you need either of these.
