It stood through bloody battles of the First World War and was hit by two strong earthquakes. When equipping the apartment our guideline was the feel and visual connection to the old days . This is back up by cute vintage kitchen, with rustic kitchen elements. You'll be able to eat on a table from the 19th century, and safely sit on new chairs with a stylish rustic look! In the apartment, there is an old renovated antique closet for all your favorite clothes. The apartment comes with a private small terrace from which you can hear the river Soča running through the famous Great Soča Gorge! The terrace also offers a view over the high walls of Bavški Grintavec. And in the distance, your eyes stop on a majestic Kanin mountain range. From our place, it's easy to join the Soča trail, which starts at the source of emerald beauty Soča. Soča trail will lead you on the most beautiful 40 min walk to the grocery store you'll ever experience. The surroundings are rich with natural attractions. Explore the healing properties of waterfalls in Šunik Water Groove or take a hike to an abandoned village in Lemovje. Village Soča is 12km from Bovec and 12km from Trenta. Our location is accessible by car. The guests can park their car in front of the house. There is a bus stop next to the Great Soča Gorge, During the summer months, there are regular free public busses going from Nova Gorica to Kranjska Gora. but there are only few daily bus connections. The closest airports are in Trieste (TRS) 93 km and Ljubljana (LJU) 101 km.
