OUT & ABOUT The historic Oxford City Centre and famous college grounds are super close by! 8 min drive / 2 min walk to bus stop and 10 min ride / 30 minute scenic walk over Magdalen Bridge. From the city centre you can catch a train further afield, or even better, catch a 24/7 bus from several stops in Oxford to London and surrounding airports. Cowley Road is around the corner (few minutes walk) and is famous for it's eclectic restaurants and lined with shops, bars, music venues and more. Also suitable for business travellers, with easy access to the business and science parks. Perfect base when visiting loved one's at Brookes University and Oxford hospitals, both under a 10 min drive away. After a long day of sight seeing, kick back in the living room and watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV gathered around the wood-burning stove. Beautiful private back garden for you to make the most of on a British Summer's Day complimented by a variety of native trees. Guest will have private access to the entire of my property along with garden and driveway parking for one car. SELF CHECK IN Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am. Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys and call outs, so please be careful with them. BEDROOMS Bedroom 3 is connected off of Bedroom 1. The bunk beds in bedroom 3 are recommended for children. AMENITIES There is a log burner for use in the living room. You are welcome to make use of this but please use responsibility and follow the guest manual instructions, plus please note you will be need to provide your own fuel as we cannot guarantee any will be left in the house hold. Fire must be put out when not attended. Further notes: The doors should be kept shut when the stove is lit. Clearly it all gets very hot so please take care and use the tool to open the door to add fuel when the log-burning stove is in use. There is no permanent fireguard, so if you have young children staying in the property, please use your judgement and extreme caution as to if and when you use the stove. For fuel, please use either logs or smokeless coal. My fantastic property management team and I will be available 24/7 via email, or phone to provide any assistance you may need. Cowley Road The city's hipster enclave- known for it's eclectic range of ethnic restaurants and lined with cafes, traditional pubs, cocktail bars, shops, music venues (inc. O2 Academy) and Oxford's first and only independent cinema- the Ultimate Picture Palace. It is also home to the Cowley Road Carnival, an annual live music and food event held every July which attracts over 45,000 visitors every year. One way takes you to the City Centre and college grounds in minutes- simply take a stroll over Magdalen Bridge where you can also go punting, one of Oxford's unique experiences. The other direction you've got South Park the largest park in Oxford where events take place throughout the year. Oxford Brookes University and Hospitals are also nearby. Oxford City Centre Attractions Westgate shopping centre - brand new complex with plenty of shops and on-top of the roof bars and restaurants. Oxford university - made up of a variety of institutions, including 38 constituent colleges and a full range of academic departments which are organised into four divisions. For any big Harry Potter fans, please make sure to visit The “Great Hall”, Christ Church College. Ashmolean Museum, Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Camera, St. Mary's Church and much, much more! OXFORD CITY CENTRE By bus: Frequent direct bus services (inc. No. 1 & 5 bus)- 2 min walk to bus stop, 10 min ride. By car: 10 min drive, free driveway parking space for one car and free street parking normally available for additional cars By foot: Scenic 30 minute walk down Cowley Road and over picturesque Magdalen Bridge. By cycle: Rent a pay as you go bike by downloading an app, such as OFO and Pony bikes. FURTHER AFIELD Oxford station is in the city centre.
