Cheap sack in the woods sofa bed
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is not for night workers who need to sleep during the day! The sofa bed must be in by 9 am and out in the evening before bed. We have other private listings if you need to sleep during the day. Thanks. The deer are a very special part of being here. The tall windows are perfect for watching them in the back yard. Your designated sleeping area of course, the front room where the piano is, the family room where the fireplace and TV are, the kitchen, laundry room and master bathroom. If the master bathroom is being used the second bathroom can also be used but let us know before you do. When other guests are here they will be sharing the master bathroom with you. There are two pocket doors into the shower area and master bedroom area. We will be available to help in person, by text, phone or email. We want you to feel comfortable and communicate whatever may be on your mind. Our neighborhood is very quiet and has windy wooded roads to large lots with some older and some newer homes, some larger and some smaller. It is unincorporated so we have capability to have chickens and horses if we so desire but right now only have 2 cats named April Patches and her son Luigi who was born November 2020 and humans! We have wonderful neighbors and we watch out for one another. Most likely you will have your own car but if you'd like to go downtown there is the Metra Electric train that is only a ten minute drive away and Uber usually comes within 10 to 20 minutes and costs $5 to $10 to get there. You can also drive your car to the train station and park for a dollar or two I think it is. The train is less than $10 one way and there are discount weekend passes as well. There is a lot to do in Chicago so please don't pass up this opportunity to enjoy this great city. My Dad, Jack is a retired Air Force Major who was a navigator. He served in WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. People enjoy speaking with him about his involvement in the service and his other life stories. We also have an Airbnb Experience you can sign up for called History Accounts from a WWII Navigator. (Experience is on hold for now as Dad is recovering from a hospital stay in February 2021.) Dad also owned and operated Artisan Signs and started in the sign business in 1946. I (Ruth) have taken over the business in 2008 and he is glad that the business continues. He graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago and then began his sign business in the City of Chicago back then. He also has been a Plymouth Brethren elder for over 60 years. He has been a preacher speaking in churches, shelters, jails, Christian camps, etc. and best known for his "chalk talks" that really keep people's attention! Jack has also officiated at many marriages over the years and would welcome officiating yours if needed. He is a gentle, quiet old school gentleman who loves to spend time in his garden or even snow blow the drive in the winter! Born in 1925 and still sharp as a tack. There are many books in the library for you to read and also some to take that are set aside for you. Just ask us about them. If you're more inclined to stay to yourself that's okay too. We just hope you enjoy your stay with us. My husband Don doesn't live at the house but with his son in another town but you may see him when he comes to stay for short periods from time to time. If you're open to conversation he is usually pretty talkative!
