A good chance to see Wallabies, Kangaroos, Echidnas, Possums ,and Koalas if they choose to visit! Historic Tantanoola Tiger Hotel 10 min drive away for a lovely meal. Many local attractions include Tantanoola Cave; Ants Redgum Gallery,the historic Glencoe Woolshed. Hosts live on the property but not close to the cottage. Foot access to most of the 32 Ha property except host's house/garden/sheds area. Hosts available if needed (by phone or if on site) but generally interaction is not expected. Rural area, with access to nearby townships, local attractions by vehicle. We have no Public Transport; property is 5Kms from main Adelaide-Mt Gambier Hwy, ( Princes Hwy). Taxi services are operating in Millicent and Mt Gambier and Mt Gambier has a city bus service within the city. If walking on our property is desired, we suggest wearing covered shoes. Currently Currently, No Wi Fi access, and variable mobile coverage - at times may be limited but coverage is normally good at the front gate!
