A fully-equipped country style kitchen provides everything you will need to prepare and cook your leisurely meals. Complete with ample cupboard space, an oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and all the crockery and utensils you could need. The utility room contains a fridge and freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining room is exquisite. The huge table, large dresser, candleabras and lamps all add to the ambience of this room. Perfect for a family feast, romantic dinner or just a place to talk, laugh and reminisce. On the first floor the long, bright and airy landing leads to the three bedrooms, all carpeted and with fabulous views of woodland and open fields from the wonderful old windows. There is an en-suite twin room and two double rooms, with ample storage space, sumptuous beds, lovely crisp linen, goose-down duvets, feather pillows and large fluffy towels. Both the en-suite and main bathroom are modern and beautifully tiled. At Garden Cottage you are guaranteed a sound nights sleep and the sound of birdsong when you wake up! Outside there is a beautiful cottage garden and terrace on which you can enjoy a glass of wine or BBQ whilst enjoying absolutley stunning views. If you don't feel like cooking then a visit to the nearby Duncombe Arms is a must!. The Duncombe Arms is a beautiful, traditional country pub situated at the heart of the lovely rural village of Ellastone, only a short distance from Garden Cottage. Not only is it handy for our guests but it also provides a delightful setting in which to enjoy a drink, some lovely food from the superb lunch and evening menus, as well as a chat with friends or family. The pub has been selected as one of the top 30 gastro-pubs in the country in the prestigious Budweiser Budvar awards.
