Modern beach house with Huge swimspa and SUP board

My place is close to Maria Island National Park, great fishing, bush walks, surf & sheltered beaches, snorkelling, paddle boarding, wineries and parks. It's serene, beautiful and comfortable. The house is in the most perfect spot for hours of flat, picturesque bike riding. A huge heated swim spa, fire pit area and stand up paddle board are included. Orford Sands is a modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom super cosy and comfy property. It is nestled in a quiet cul de sac close to East and West Shelley beaches. Bonuses include use of the heated swim spa (for exercise or relaxation!) a fire pit area and a stand up paddle board. The house is an easy 3-5 minute stroll to East or West Shelley beach, take your pick! The house is close enough to both beaches to hear the waves crashing and smell the sea but sheltered enough to avoid most of the chilly afternoon sea breezes. Glimpses of beautiful Prosser's Bay are visible from the deck, living, dining area, front bedroom and swim spa! A picturesque bike friendly coastal gravel track runs along the esplanade just behind the house. A must do during your stay: walk, run or bike along this track which affords stunning views of Maria Island National Park 2and winds all the way to the shops, Raspins beach, restaurants, cafes and fantastic park to the left. To the right are the squeaky sands of East Shelley / Spring beaches. The house includes a large master bedroom with King size bed and ensuite complete with a large walk in shower. A further two large bedrooms are fitted with robes and Queen beds. A second spacious bathroom includes a large shower and a bathtub. The house comfortably sleeps 6 but can accommodate up to 8 on request if guests are content to convert the sofa in the living room to a sofa bed. A high chair and cot are also available. There is a large deck, BBQ and outdoor setting for some serious R&R. Pour a wine while you listen to snags sizzling and the waves crashing of an evening or make yourself a coffee to drink while you read a novel or the morning paper on the deck. Just off the deck is an open air shower with hot water, perfect to wash off after sandy beach days. There is also a new (2021) swim spa which is heated for use all year round. The spa is long and quite deep so get some exercise and swim in the early morning and relax in the evening in the jetted seats with spa lights on and a cool beverage.. The owners will not be available to greet guests unfortunately, however we will be available via phone and email for any queries and our caretaker lives locally should you have any problems:) Orford is a special place with heaps to do and a great base to explore the East Coast. The local park is fantastic for kids complete with a bicycle track with traffic lights, basket ball court and great play equipment. It also has outdoor gym equipment for adults to use while the kids are playing or mid-way through a run. Orford has a variety of stunning beaches and the most beautiful coastal tracks to walk or jog along. It’s also a very dog friendly place and with a fully fenced yard and plenty of beaches and tracks to explore, enquire as to whether your furry friend would be suitable to come along as well. Orford is a great base to explore the entire East coast, wineries and national parks like Freycinet which is 2 hours to the north or pristine and uninhabited Maria Island which is a 30 min Ferry ride away. see above
