Artists Villa 1 Single Occupancy
Comfortable, stylish accommodation in Victorian Villa style house, situated in a quiet residential street. Artists Villa has been awarded a Bravo badge from Trip Advisor, as 15 travellers have rated it "Excellent". If Lenry Henry stayed here he would not focus on the comfortable beds, even though they are, he would have more engaging things to talk about. This is not just a home from home - it's a relaxing home decorated with beautiful paintings and ceramics produced by the artist who owns it. Beautiful, large, light and airy room with a superkingsize bed or twin beds overlooking a very quiet residential street. There is a good sized flat screen TV, a table for study, a bookcase and lots of storage in a double wardrobe and chest of drawers. The kitchen/ dining area for making hot drinks. Guests can use the dining table for eating brought in food. There is a microwave and fridge that guests may use. I am available most of the time if guests need any help as I work from home. Some of the best restaurants in Kingston are located in Norbiton Village...Trattoria Calabrese (Italian), Rozana (Indian), Fish for a great traditional fish and chips, and in addition Atari Ya, a Japanese shop where you can buy freshly made sushi...and all of them a stones throw from Artists Villa. There is also the Norbiton Pub that makes very good pizzas and the Black Horse Pub for very nice food and cosy spots if you’re just having a drink. The house is conveniently located for getting into Kingston town centre (a 10 minute stroll) and to the local University and hospital. In fact many buses and the free Kingston University bus stop nearby. It is just a few minutes walk (400m) to Norbiton rail station (30 minutes to Waterloo) and a 15 minutes leisurely walk to the splendour of Richmond Park. There are many good local restaurants, takeaways, pubs, shops, a supermarket and convenient parking in the street that is free in the evenings and at weekends. What guests can expect: 1. A large comfortable bedroom with study table and chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchair, bookcase, TV and free WiFi. 2. Use of the main bath/shower room that is shared with one other guest room. 3. Use of the kitchen/dining room for making hot drinks and eating brought in meals. Also use of a microwave, fridge and toaster. Cooking is not allowed. 4. Use of a washing machine for long term guests. Long term is a stay of three weeks or more.
