Your accommodation is at Rivington Cottage a luxury self contained 2 bedroom annex, completely separate from our house, with its own lounge, kitchen diner, bathroom and superb garden spaces. With stunning views of open Countryside, you can enjoy the use of an enclosed garden area to the front of the property and private courtyard garden at the back. We are based in the heart of the Peak District national park only three miles away from Chatsworth House. The house is set within gardens of 3/4 of an acre with stunning views of open countryside to the rear of the property and enclosed grassed gardens to the front of the property. Bakewell town centre is only a short walk away, which has many restaurants, shops, cafes and pubs. Alternatively Ashford in the water is only a ten minute walk with local pubs, and corner shop. We are surrounded by beautiful country views and walks from your cottage doorstep. A short drive away is Chatsworth House, as well as Haddon Hall, Thornbridge Hall, and the Villages of Hassop, Eyam and Baslow. Parking for 3 cars is available directly outside your cottage. There is also the option of exploring with public transport, a bus stop directly opposite Rivington, although we recommend using a car to visit local attractions such as Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Bakewell town centre is approximately a 15 minute walk away. For Cyclists, the Monsal trail is a cycle ride away from the house with superb facilities at the nearby Hassop station.
