POLPERRO charming room private bathroom + parking

We have a comfortable room with a double bed, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer, internet access, a colour smart tv and a recently renovated private bathroom with a large walk in shower, corner bath, wc, hand basin and heated towel rail. The Polmary in the beautiful village of Polperro used to be a restaurant until October 2019 when Peter and I decided to semi retire. We have been slowly (very slowly thanks to covid) been renovating the property..we're nearly there, just waiting for a carpet fitter! This is our family home not a holiday let and we'll welcome you as we would any guest staying with us. We live here with our little dog Charlie so you'll probably hear us pottering about. You have your own bedroom, a private bathroom and free parking in our car park, but unfortunately we can't offer breakfast at this time. There is a curved staircase with 11 stairs. We are about 3 minutes walk away from the picturesque harbour, with a fantastic array of shops, many good restaurants and pubs and the beautiful South West Coast Path. Weather permitting there are local boats that will take you on a ½ hour boat trip, fishing or on a magical trip along the coast to Looe or Fowey Looe is a 4½ mile walk with Polruan 6½ miles along the coast path the other way. We hope the sun shines for you and Peter and I look forward to meeting you. We live on the premises so feel free to ask questions at any time. Polperro is very quiet and peaceful in the winter and a vibrant busy village during the summer months. There are plenty of local taxis, a regular bus service and a beautiful journey along the Looe river by train that joins the main line at Liskeard where you can go further into Cornwall or go over The Tamar river into Plymouth. We are unable to offer breakfast but there are lots of restaurants and cafes in the village that do splendid breakfasts!
