2 Mill House is a 18th Century 3 bedroom cottage situated in the village of Gilwern within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Benefiting from opening kitchen dining and living area as well as an additional sitting room Mill House if the perfect place to relax with friends and family. All 3 bedrooms benefit from double beds (two with TV's). High speed Wifi, Sky TV, Netflixs is great for relaxing and being situated in the village of Gilwern, the Brecon Beacons National Park is yours to explore. Mill House has everything you could want for a weekend away in the idyllic Brecon beacons. Mill House benefits of larger kitchen which includes double range cooker, a table with 6 chairs and seating area which includes 2 chairs, 2 seater sofa and window seat which is perfect for reading a bookand watching life pass by or watching a film next to the log burner. The first levels benefits from a living rooms with two sofa's, a single chair and snug area. This room benefits from Sky TV (sports and movies). This levels also has the main bathroom with bath and separate shower. Bedroom 1 is the final room on the first level, this room has a double bed and chair to read or relax in. The top floor has tv further double bedrooms (on of which also includes a single bed) as well as a shower room. Outside the property there is a patio area with a table and chairs which is a great space to have a morning coffee. Sorry but we don't allow dogs The whole house We live about a mile away and are always happy to run through our favourite activities and our favourite pubs/restaurants. Perfect location for walking/cycling in the Brecon Beacons National Park - a dark sky reserve. We are: • minutes from the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal - brilliant for walking, cycling, boating, etc. • 10 mins drive from the historic market town of Abergavenny. With its annual Abergavenny Food Festival, the town is also mecca for foodies – and there are plenty of gorgeous gastro pubs, ancient inns and restaurants to try in the surrounding countryside too. The town has regular markets where you can buy quality produce grown locally too. • 10 mins from the pretty and convivial Crickhowell. Voted best high street in 2018 Great Britain High street awards. The Bear hotel is a great place to stop for food and drink after a lovely walk along the canal or from a mountain walk. Abergavenny Train station is 4 miles which has easy access to Newport train station which has hourly direct trains to London Paddington .
