Cosy holiday house La Petite Verte

La Petite Verte is a tiny house located on a 17th century domain. La Petite Verte is beautifully situated on the edge of the forest.From the private terrace there is a unique view of the valley of the river Trincou. La Verte has a 1 hectare garden with a shared swimming pool. La Petite Verte is wonderfully private. On the grounds of La Verte “La Petite Verte” is situated. It is a detached holiday house for two persons, with a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200), small bathroom with toilet and shower and a kitchen/living room. A swimmingpool is availble. In the kitchen you will find a fridge, oven and microwave. “La Petite Verte” is located on the edge of the forest and has a wonderful view. The house has its own terrace. You find La Verte in a beautiful hillside with forests and fields crossed by streams and rivers. A still undiscovered part of the Dordogne where you can find authentic villages, medieval towns and delicious food and drinks.The Dordogne offers plenty of opportunities for active, sportive and dynamic holidays, but also for relaxing and lazing around. Where better to do just that, than at La Verte Dordogne, with its hectare of private grounds The parking is next to the gite. We live at the grounds of La Verte. If you need information or you have questions, you can always ask us. The name of this area says it all: there are beautiful green surroundings with forest and lands, intersected by little rivers. In the middle of the Périgord Vert, close to the village Villars, you will find La Verte. GET STARTED Walking: In the entire area walking trails have been plotted and they even go just along La Verte. A survey is obtainable with the local Office de Tourisme (Tourist Office). Of course we can also supply walking maps. Biking: The surroundings of La Verte are very suitable to make excellent biking tours. If you are well trained you can make longer tours. We have plotted a number of tours. At La Verte you can rent a bike, including one electric woman’s bike. Canoeing: At several places in the environment canoes are for rent. The river Dronne can be canoed from Brantôme. A very beautiful tour goes to Bourdeilles From Corgnac you can canoe the river L’Isle Through the trees: In Notron you’ll find the “Parcours acrobratique en hauteur”. They have made a climb and clamber routing through the trees with cables. You can walk through the crowns of the trees. Quit exiting, but everything has been constructed in a safe way. Swimming: Apart from the swimming pool of La Verte, there are a couple of swimming opportunities. Nearest is the little lake with beach in Saint-Saud. Golf: In the neighbourhood of La Verte there are several golf courses: •Golf d’Essendiéras: 9 holes golf course near to Saint-Médard-d’Exideuil. •Golf de Périgeux: 18 holes. The golf course is situated on the L’Isle in the village Marsac.
