Stylish Twin Room near Swansea University

Stylish Swansea (SA2) house built in 1923 very close to the great restaurants and bars of Uplands. You can walk to the sea front, Wales National Pool, Swansea University Singleton Campus, the Dylan Thomas House and Singleton Hospital. The location is also convenient for the Liberty Stadium home of Swansea City Football Club and the Ospreys. Sunny gardens. On-road free parking. Your room has a pull down desk and a chair hanging inside your door. Ours is a quiet home. Guests come in through the front door and can then go straight upstairs to the room where you can relax in peace and comfort. Please leave your shoes in the hallway. This twin room has a single bed and a cabin bed (the latter requires a ladder for access.) There is a surface in the room suitable for working on - writing or using a lap top. The electric plugs all have USB ports for charging your devices. Ours is a quiet home, particularly after 22.00. We often have more than one guest staying. You have access to the lounge, bedroom, bathroom, toilet. The gardens are sunny spaces, with a table and chairs where you can eat/work. I'll be available to help throughout your stay. I am happy to leave you to your own devices or be a more entertaining host. I will treat you as I would treat my friends and family and will do my best to make sure you have a really enjoyable experience in Swansea and the surrounding area. Just let me know in advance of anything that would make your stay more enjoyable and I will do my utmost to accommodate you. Swansea is a great place to be, you can walk in to the city centre from our home or catch a bus (the number 10 is very convenient). I live in Uplands which is also a great place to "be"...there are lots of interesting restaurants, bars and cafes about five minutes on foot from our home. Swansea seafront is very close by as is the Dylan Thomas House, lovely parks, regular buses pass outside the house and go straight to Mumbles and the Gower peninsula. Uplands has a great vibe and often has live music and poetry. Also lots of take aways selling food from all over the world. Uplands Market happens on the last Saturday of every month, worth a visit. Uplands is a very safe and friendly area. The house is very close to bus stops which will take you directly to lots and lots of different places: sandy beaches and the Gower peninsula, lovely countryside, the Marina at SA1, Mumbles and Swansea city centre. You can also walk to most places (including Swansea city centre), hire bikes, cars or get a taxi. Please ask if you need transport information. I have two dogs called Atticus and Scarlett. They are Scottish Terriers - quite small and well behaved. They never go upstairs and certainly not to the guest bedrooms. Atticus and Scarlett live and eat in the house. If this is culturally unacceptable or you are uncomfortable with dogs you might not like staying at our home. Ours is a quiet home, particularly after 22.00. We often have more than one guest staying.
