B&B in historic limestone building

Our b&b is located in an eighteenth century limestone barn. The thick walls keep the heat in and the cold out. Our house is situated in the rolling countryside of the south of Limburg. An excellent start for a walk and yet close to Maastricht. Welcome Thank you for your interest in our B&B. We would like to welcome you to our lovely place located in the hamlet of Gasthuis, just east of Maastricht. For centuries, people journeying through the area have stayed for the night at this place; and now you can, too! The name of our hamlet, which means "guesthouse", speaks for itself. Our B&B is established in a former limestone granary and has a lovely view of the Margraten plateau. It is in the middle in nature and, yet, still close to Maastricht (only about 8 kms). What You Will Find: We have several spacey bedrooms, all equipped with a bathroom (toilet, shower), a TV, a and telefone. We provide free Wifi and private parking. We serve our breakfast with warm roles, handcut bread, homemade jams and local specialities. Breakfast is served between 8-10. The place features a gravel tenniscourt and a large terrace facing to the west. Enjoy the quiet and tranquil surroundings, or a game of tennis, during your stay. In the Area: There are several small villages close by with restaurants. However, Maastricht is only 8 kms away, and this old city dating back to the Roman times has many great restaurants, nightlife, culture, history, and shops for you to enjoy. During the day, you can easily make a day-trip to Maastricht to enjoy the interesting and historical architecture, or just to enjoy any of the several cafes, lively squares, and shops. From our B&B, it is a 5 minute walk to the bus station that leaves hourly to Maastricht. Please contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to your visit!
