Grandvewe Cheeses Loft

Welcome to "The Loft" above Grandvewe Cheeses. A spacious 2 bedroom, 2 Bathroom, self contained apartment with views over our sheep paddocks and the water delight of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and the gateway to Bruny Island. Upon entry you are met with modern design and decor with a deck to take in the breath taking views of D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Have a bbq on the deck or cook up local delights in the open plan kitchen. The master bedroom has its own private views of the water, en-suite, walk in robe and Queen bed. In the main living area you are warmed by a log fire place, dining table and modern living room. Second bedroom has two single beds with their own bathroom. WiFi is available, TV and Washing machine. Please note that there is no dryer. Please feel free to park in the designated parking spot near the entrance to the shed but not on the cement at the base of the stairs. This area is required for movement of stock. Our fabulous staff are available daily from 10am - 5 pm to help you with any questions you may have regarding the region or your stay. You have Bruny Island on your doorstep - a short ferry ride away. The region boasts the likes of Peppermint Bay Hotel, Five Bob farm with their fabulous art trail, the vibrant community of Cygnet is a short 20 min car ride away with many local artisans, cafes and spectacular scenery. There is no public transport options here and so a car is necessary. This is a working farm . There is a tasting house and al fresco cafe on the floor below the loft. Ambient cafe noise will be heard daily between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm. Our loft is situated directly above our fully operational cheesery and distillery where our tasting house also operates. Whilst we endeavour to keep noise and smells associated with our operations to a minimum, guests should expect to experience sensory elements pertaining to farming, cheese manufacture, tourism and alcohol ferment.
