Le Cheval Blanc - Ground Floor Cosy Apt for two

La Bastide de Roquefort is dating back from 1889 and has been completely renovated and transformed in 2018 in to 3 small apartments of 40m2 each. This has been done in the most exquisite way with exceptional style and charm. The three apartments are similar in style and layout but with different colours and themes. Le Cheval Blanc (The White Horse) is on the ground floor and has a small open kitchen, which is perfect for light cooking. There is a two stove electric hob, a small fridge, toaster, coffee machine, and more than enough plates, glasses and cutlery for two persons. A table and two confortable arm chairs are installed for the guests to relax and enjoy a meal and a glass in front of the stove during colder evenings. The bedroom is separated and offers a very confortable double bed measuring 140 x 200cm and made up with quality bed linen, pillows and duvet (when necessary). A corner is used as a small desk if one has to work a little. The shower room is built in the corner with a wall to separate from the bedroom and a sliding door to close off. When closing the door, there is a very original surprise…. there is a window hidden behind the door so you can actually look in to the bedroom from the toilet. A nice details to give light and it shows the attention to details when it was renovated. You will be able to access the owner's garden where you will find small tables and a barbecue installed (right next to the herbes in the garden) for the use of the guests from the three apartments in the Bastide. As part of the owner's garden there is also a small pool for dipping which the guests also will be able to access to cool down on a hot Summer day. When arriving the bed will be prepared with quality bed linen. There will be bath towels and kitchen towels at your disposal. A basket full of wood will be ready, free of charge, and if more wood is needed this can be bought nearby or arranged with the owner who is living right next door. During colder periods where more heating is needed, there will be an electric heater installed and the electricity will be charged at the end of the stay.
