Welcome to the next generation of the Craftsbury Farmhouse, with broadband internet, yoga, spa amenities and Blackbird Bistro just downstairs! The farmhouse is perfect for people on business, folks visiting Hill Farmstead, or couples looking to enjoy a day or relaxation and over the top cocktails without having to leave! You'll absolutely adore the warmth and beauty of this old farmhouse, which boasts extensive renovations and modern amenities. The first floor of the farmhouse is home to Blackbird Bistro, a locally sourced hand crafted New England Bistro honoring timeless classics and modern flair. This is an old farmhouse and sound does travel despite our best efforts. We have provided sound machines and earplugs in each room. Attached to the farmhouse is, Whetstone Wellness Center, offering massage, reiki, facials, yoga, and intuitive and clinical counseling. We would be happy to help you create a spa experience during your stay! The hot tub is part of the Wellness Center, but guests get access in the evenings or can make an appointment to use during the day. Walk the gardens in the backyard or grab a glass of wine and sit on the deck overlooking Whetstone Brook. All three sisters live within a couple miles of the farmhouse and are available for questions or help during your stay. We are very close with our staff at Whetstone who can help accommodate treatments during your stay as well as the owner and staff at Blackbird Bistro. The combination of on site services are perfect for creating as much luxury as you would like during your stay! The farmhouse is located in Craftsbury, Vermont, United States. Although the farmhouse offers everything necessary for the ultimate Northeastern escape, you won't want to miss out on exploring the fantastic attractions surrounding the property! Just two minutes up the road you will find all the essentials stocked at The Craftsbury General Store and C Village Store as well as the popular Pete's Greens Organic Farm Stand, known for harvesting delicious organic vegetables and produce that are grown in the field across from the farmhouse. Be sure to check out the Olympic training facilities at The Craftsbury Outdoor Center, or spend the afternoon sampling tasty local microbrews and spirits at The Hill Farmstead Brewery and Caledonia Spirits. Outdoor enthusiasts will also love the farmhouse's proximity to Stowe, Jay Peak, and Burke Mountain, which offer some of the best hiking, biking, and skiing in the entire state! Additionally, you will find numerous pristine lakes located nearby with fantastic opportunities for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Regardless of how you choose to spend your time in Vermont, the 'Craftsbury Farmhouse' will quickly become a place you wish to return to year after year.
