Pelion mountain lodge

Situated in the scenic Mouresi village, the mountain lodge gives you access to some of the most beautiful and popular parts of Pelion while also allowing you to isolate and enjoy the peace and quiet of a true forest cottage. The cottage is traditionally built with Pelion stone, wooden beamed ceilings and beautiful views to the sea and forest. It features a master bedroom that sleeps 2 and 2 single beds on the lower floor. There are fireplaces in both sleeping areas, vintage furniture and beautiful views from both floors. The veranda overlooks the garden with fig, lemon and apple trees where you can relax in your hammock! I am a resident of Athens and spend the majority of my time here. I will be available by phone and email throughout your stay, provide instructions and suggestions as required. Antonis, the caretaker of the property, is the one who receives all guests, shows them around the house and hands over the keys. Both his contact number and mine will be available to you. There are no neighboring properties within a 30 minute walking distance. Driving short distances will bring you to some of Pelion's most beautiful beaches like Ntamouchari, Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero, Mylopotamos and Fakistra. For hikers, canyoners and off road bicycle enthusiasts it is absolute heaven! Although isolated in the woods a 10 minute drive will bring you to Mouresi village square where there is a fully stocked super market (Golden Heart), a bakery and restaurants. The village is 20 minutes away by car from the beautiful villages of Tsagarada and Kissos, both excellent options for quality food and the starting points of multiple hiking routes. PLEASE NOTE! the last part of the road to the cottage (700 meters to be precise) is a dirt road accessible only with jeep or SUV type vehicles. Please take this under consideration when booking this accommodation! We are currently NOT offering vehicles for hire so you should be able to reach the cabin by YOUR OWN means!
