Our house in the heart of the charming village of Maureillas is an ideal base for a relaxed and stress free holiday. Whether you prefer to relax under the dappled shade of the olive tree, play on the lawn or soak up the sun on the terraces, the outdoor spaces can cater for everyone. A restaurant, bar and village shops are a short stroll away, larger shops are a five minute drive away in the market town of Ceret. A swimming lake in the village of St Jean Pla de Corts is less than 10 minutes away, wonderful beaches are 25 minutes away or you can be in the high mountains in half an hour. Walking, hiking and mountain biking are all on the doorstep with a range of paths and trails through the cork oak forests. Water sports, tennis, skiing and many other attractions are within easy reach. Perfect for families or small groups at any time of year. Please be aware that there are 3 flights of stairs and the one to the top floor is quite steep.
