Albaston Farm Barn is a detached converted barn a rural location in the beautiful Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and World Heritage Site. Within easy reach of both Cornwall's north and south coasts and also Devon, guests have a wealth of attractions within easy driving distance providing great days out. Rooms are light and airy with plenty of living space throughout the house especially in the large kitchen and living room. Spacious, detached, converted stone barn full of charm and character with high vaulted ceilings. Sleeps up to 8 people in 3 large bedrooms on the ground floor. Upstairs is the spacious well equipped kitchen/dining room and living room with smart TV and balcony. Plenty toys and games supplied. Parking area outside and large private garden looking into a field. Guests have exclusive use of all of the Barn, the Barn parking area and the garden. We are here usually here to meet our guests when they arrive to welcome them and provide information about the Barn and local amenities. . The Barn is a detached residence within its own grounds but we are always happy to give advice and information any time. We grow vegetables and are glad to supply them free when in season. Rural location. Friendly village. Local pub with garden 100 yards away. Interesting area and is within World Heritage site due to the wealth of historical buildings from the tin mining era. Lots of footpaths nearby. Tavistock, an historical stannery town is 5 miles away. Central location for a drive to the many delightful beaches of Cornwall and some of Devon. You can catch a train into Plymouth from our local train station which travels through the stunning Tamar Valley. Local bus stop. Buses to Tavistock or Callington. Train station 0.75 mile. Trains every 2 hours to and from Plymouth. There is a wealth of footpaths to explore the area if you like walking. There is a large offroad parking area. No animals please. No smoking in the Barn. Smoking allowed in the garden. Free WiFi. We supply a cot and high chair if required. There is a stair gate in place.
