Light and airy annexe with South Downs & sea views
Excellent wifi, Sky channels, free on street parking, outside space, easily accessible public transport Seaview@Number5 has its own private entrance at the top of our drive; you enter directly into the living room of the annexe with SkyTV channels (sports and kids package too!) and cosy sofa, which can also be used as an additional bed. The light and airy small kitchen area has a small counter top oven, hob and microwave, perfect for breakfast or making a bowl of pasta or cooking a pizza, but due to the space you probably won't want to be cooking up a three course meal! Tea, coffee, sugar and all the usuals are provided for you on arrival. We don't have a dining table, so it's a dinner on your knee kind of place. The smart, clean bathroom has a walk in shower, with seat and a high ceiling with velux windows. The bedroom looks out of bifold doors onto a small patio with furniture for you to use and the green leafy garden. It is designed to be cosy and relaxing with hanging space and drawers for your things. The bed is a small double, so make sure that works for you. Otherwise we can easily provide bedding for the sofa bed in the lounge, just let us know, and we also have a travel cot should you need it for a little one. We are 3 miles from Falmer station, close to Sussex & Brighton Universities and only 5 minutes walk to the bus stop with direct services into central Brighton every 15 minutes. The bus does go around the houses so takes around 25 minutes, but a car or cab takes 12 minutes into the centre of town. The area is residential but we are on the edge of the South Downs National Park and 3 miles from the AMEX staduim one way and the seaside village of Rottingdean down the hill with quaint shops, great pubs and the beach in the other direction. We live next door and share a wall, so we are on hand should you need us! We are in a residential area on a small close, there is a newsagent, post office and pharmacy within a 5 minute walk. The village of Rottingdean with quaint shops and great pubs is 2 miles down the hill. We live on a small close which has on street parking, bus services directly into Brighton can be picked up around the corner, the stop is a 5 minute walk. Brighton has lots of taxi’s which are easily accessible and we are 3 miles from Falmer station (public transport to get there isn’t great unfortunately, to walk would take you up and down a huge hill) A happy well behaved dog is welcome, please let us know when you book. We have three cats so if they are chasers please keep them on a lead if using the outside space. There is a park 5 minutes away leading to lots of trails and walks on the downs from the doorstep.
