Perfect base for the many activities this area has to offer or just a great spot to relax and unwind. ****Please ensure you have you vaccination passes available before booking as we will ask and check these***** Espresso coffee machine, Plunger & Instant Coffee and selection of teas, plus most of the basic kitchen necessities. Wine glasses Toasted Sandwich Maker. Electric cook plate with Saucepan & Frypan. Small outdoor bbq. Spades and buckets for digging your hot pool. Beach towels available for use during your stay. This property is not suitable for active Toddlers but can accommodate Babies. Portable cot & Highchair available. A small washing machine for your convenience. Quality bed linen, soaps and towels provided. Please note, you have this space & deck entirely to yourself, you will not be sharing it with anyone else. Your apartment is fully lockable for your security. We live upstairs and we are on hand to answer any questions you have. However we want you to have relaxing time here and we respect your privacy. For that reason we have set the room up so you can be entirely self sufficient. Hot Water has the following to offer. Great surfing, Hot mineral pools at low tide Amazing sunsets to be viewed from your private deck Lots of interesting places in the vicinity of Hot Water Beach to explore, i.e. Catching the Ferry from Ferry Landing over to Whitianga town, Cathedral Cove at low tide, Shakespeare Cliff, Lonely Bay both on the way to Ferry Landing just to mention a few. On occasions you may be lucky enough to enjoy viewing the Dolphins in the bay here at Hot Water Beach. It is a 5 - 10 minute pleasant walk down to Hot Water Beach. You can drive down but be prepared to pay to park, there are some free parks in the area if you're an early bird. Any other places of interest outside of Hot Water you will need transport. During the peak Summer months there is a Mini Bus that comes & goes to & from Hot Water & into surrounding beaches and also to Ferry Landing where there is a Ferry to transport you to Whitianga where you can easily walk around to the shopping area and plenty of great eateries. This ferry runs every 5-10 minutes continuously during the day and evening for a small cost. We have some pets - a Jack Russell dog - Poppy . Our 2 hens which are free rangers but it's unlikely you'll see them. Pussycat could come by to say Hello. Poppy is kept under control with us upstairs, but you may encounter her at some point if she is out and about with Jenny. For each booking I receive I donate a percentage of $$ to our local Lifesaving volunteers for their amazing dedication saving lives on our local beaches.
