European Tranquility Room

The room is private and bathroom is shared. We offer a wonderful home in a suburban area in White Plains, NY. We are located only 10 minutes from Metro North (35 minutes from Manhattan) and convenient to local stores, restaurants, and shops. The room is 12 x 12 and has hardwood floors, color tv, cable, WiFi, outdoor patio, garden, and common living space. The bathroom was recently renovated and provide an oasis for your daily needs. The driveway provides off street parking. There are some basic breakfast items and feel free to join us for dinner. The guest has access to all the common areas (living room, kitchen & patios). A shelf in the refrigerator is also available, however, no cooking permitted. I will also provide the guest with any local travel information or sightseeing details. We are always happy to share our knowledge of the area with our guest. We are very social but respect the guest privacy and will honor that to the fullest. We love the quiet, safe suburban area in which we live. The guest will love the garden and the tranquil feeling about the house. We are a "shoe-free" home and ask guest to please respect that. Besides cleanliness, it is a way to make our guest feel at home. We have a cat but he is low key and usually keeps to himself. The Bee Line bus terminal and train station are minutes away from the house. Major highway is 287 and the Bronx River Pkwy. White Plains/ Westchester Airport is only 20 minutes from the house. Host will be glad to navigate the area upon your arrival . I will provide you with points of interest once you make your booking. I will have that ready for you upon your arrival. The house is very close to local shops, restaurants,banks and stores. Laundry service provided once a week for extended (l week or more) guest. The maid comes on the weekend to do the laundry but does not iron. She will wash, fold and sort clothes for the guest.
