The Stables with Hot Tub, beautiful rural location

The Stables is attached to the The Old Vicarage in the rural peaceful village of Awre. It has panoramic views to the River Severn, Cotswolds and Forest of Dean. It is set in beautiful mature gardens and a cider orchard. Guest can walk from the garden to the famous River Severn. Awre is close to the Forest of Dean in easy reach of Cheltenham and Cotswolds. A perfect place for those who appreciate peace, beauty, the countryside, being active or relaxing, seeing huge skies, birds and wild life. Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor, is ensuite with kingsize bed. Bedroom 2 is on the ground floor, can be either singles or a king. Bedroom 3 is in a discrete part of the lounge and can be either 2 singles or a superking. If only 4 or less guests are using the property, these beds in the lounge are not used and slide away to look like a sofa. Guests have their own private, secluded garden. in addition guests can enjoy the fabulous, mature gardens around the Old Vicarage and the cider orchard. We live in the adjoining Old Vicarage and are available to welcome you and can assist, advise or help if needed during your stay. The outstanding feature of staying in the village of Awre is its peace and beauty, with the River Severn in walking distance, famous for the Severn Bore. The Forest of Dean is 3 miles away giving opportunities for walking, cycling, canoeing or just quietly enjoying its beauty and lakes and The River Wye. This is a very rural area and a car is essential. However once guests arrive, sometimes they do not move their vehicles as all they want is here! Public transport is very limited, but we do have a good taxi service if you want to go out for a meal and not drive home. COVID This is the first time we are offering the Stables on its own, because of COVID. Normally it is combined with The Old Vicarage, hence the table laid for twelve. Cancellations: We are willing to over ride our cancellation policy, if your potential stay was affected by COVID. , if you were not able to visit due a lockdown in your area or ours, we would offer a full 100% refund. If you chose to cancel because some members of your group had contracted COVID (we would need a doctor’s note) we would retain £100, unless we were able to re-book. If we were able to re-book, we would offer a full refund.
