This place is called Merama Community Building & looked after by the Youth organisation of Phesama. Located close to Kisama heritage village, this home is an ideal place for travellers attending Hornbill festival. That is complemented by a stunning view of the mountain range. This community building consists of seven rooms. The building is situated at the heart of a small village, Phesama. This home is for travellers looking to engage with the community here. This home is also owned by our community and run by the youth organisation of Phesama. My team and I are available to help you out with anything you might need. We can guide you to travel destinations and help you make the arrangements. Kigwema Heritage Village is very close to our building. Capital town Kohima is just a 20-30 mins drive away. For adventure seekers, the basecamps of Mt. Japfu and Dzukou Valley are also close by. If you’re flying into Dimapur, you’ll need 3.5-4 hours to drive from the airport to our place. You can easily arrange a cab or hop on to a bus.
