Countryside and Town - comfy double room

You are very welcome in our home! We live on the edge of Whiteshill, on the north side of Stroud, and with the open countryside just one minute away. Our home has 5 bedrooms/3 bathrooms in total, 2 living rooms, and a spacious light and airy kitchen with dining area. Our home is particularly well located for those who love walking. You can be in the valleys and fields within 2 minutes, and the Cotswold Way, Laurie Lee's Slad valley and the Painswick valley are all within easy walking distance. Our front and back gardens are set to lawn but with trees and beautiful shrubs. The back garden has apple, plum, and greengage trees, gooseberries, raspberries, and fantastic views towards the 5 valleys. There is also a large decking area for enjoying the sun or for barbecuing which we do a lot when the weather is good. The position and angle of the house and garden means we get a lot of sun (when it's out!). There are lots of walks close by, around the villages, across the hills, and through the woods. And the views.... The Cotswold Way passes less than a mile away too! If you are walking the whole thing, we can arrange to pick you up/drop you off nearby on request in advance. Your bedroom, shared bathroom/shower/toilet, living room, large hallway, kitchen, front and back gardens (both with seating areas). Lots of free parking on premises! You are welcome to relax in the living room or sit out in the garden when it's fine! Always willing to offer advice and assistance - just ask! We'd love to hear about your travels! The Cotswold Way passes less than a mile away! Always happy to pick up and drop off nearby anyone walking the entire Cotswold Way (by arrangement at time of booking). 20 minutes walk/7 minutes by bus from Stroud town centre, 27 minutes on bus to Gloucester. Bus stop is right outside the door. We don't smoke and we request that you don't either, not even in the garden.
