Situated in a lush garden, back-dropped by nature, hiking trails and birdsong, we are a short 5 to 10 minute drive to Restaurants, the Marine Reserve, Town Centre, Coastal walkway, Surfing beaches and Pukekura Park ( Womad + Concerts). With parking on the property and a private entrance our guest suite is modern, cosy, quiet and relaxing with thoughtful touches throughout. Luxury details include lovely linens, Netflix a spacious bathroom with infinity hot water and amazing water pressure. We are located in the beautiful suburb of Whalers Gate. Our home borders Barrett Domain which has numerous, gorgeous walking trails. Protected from the wind on a sheltered flat site, you will be in a self contained wing within our home. Packed with all the essentials, including a cosy bedroom with a comfy King bed. 43 inch Smart TV, Netflix, unlimited fibre, spacious bathroom and full wardrobe with hangers. We supply Tea, Coffee, Hot chocolate, Herbal Teas and provide a light breakfast of muesli/cereal, muffins and toast with lovely spreads. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, jug, microwave, toaster, small bench-top oven/grill, and a single induction hot plate. If you would like a fully cooked breakfast there are numerous wonderful cafes very close by including The Backyard Cafe, a short 2 minute drive away. (Please note the kitchenette does not have a full oven) Feel free to use the front garden and hammock (in summer) directly outside the guest wing to relax and unwind. If you would like to borrow a Surfboard or have bikes you need us to store, no problem. Suitable for singles and couples. No pets or children. Your access is well lit, flat and is via a key-less entry. We are always here to chat and help either by phone or in person but tend to leave our guests to approach us as needed. We are minutes to the rugged West Coast which has amazing surf and is part of a Marine reserve. Its a 5 minute drive to Ngamotu Beach which hosts The Seaside Markets and a 2 min drive to a supermarket. For those that are adventurous climb Paritutu Rock and take in the breathtaking view of the Tasman Sea and a gorgeous setting sun. We are 5 mins to the central city, the Coastal walkway, 5 mins to Taranaki Thermal Spas and the Aquatic Centre. 7 minutes to our stunning Pukekura Park and we have some beautiful hiking trails right outside our back yard! The place is best explored by Car. There is a bus stop 150 metres down the road with a time-table available in the manual in your room. Parking is inside our property right beside the garage on a flat secure section. During your stay should you need the washing machine just let us know and we can help with drying as well as.
