Chez Retorit has been restored preserving its original character. It is surrounded by its own garden, with fields beyond and views towards the hamlet of Perignac. The barn sleeps up to eight people (6 adults/2 children or 4 adults/4 children) it ideally accommodates two families who are sharing and provides spacious accommodation for smaller numbers of guests. 2021 - Please note - the house is undergoing a refit at the moment and new images will be posted soon. Children enjoy using the private pool, which is not overlooked and fenced, and the lit terrace around the pool provides a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine in the evening. The (unfenced) garden is large enough for children to ride bikes, kick a ball and have fun. There is plenty of space to sit in the sun or shade and guests enjoy eating outside, under the covered terrace or in the dappled shade from the trees. There are 2 picnic tables, one in the front garden and one in the elevated back garden. Please note the garden is not fenced. 2020 Covid-19 care notes:- In case you are wondering, please be advised that your holiday home can be entered via a keylock box so no personal welcome required by Estelle (host). As the house is a fully equipped self-catering accommodation, all is therefor you (incl. BBQ) to fully enjoy your holiday in a safe environment. The detached house will have been cleaned as per Covid-19 recommended cleaning standards as provided by your booking agency. We will leave (where we can) 24 hours between changeovers to adhere to regulations and therefore we accept flexible check-out times and arrival times. Any perishable and non-perishable articles left by other guests will have been thrown away. We provide a welcome basket complete with hand sanitizer and masks for all guests, should you wish to use those. If you wish us to do some essential shopping prior to your arrival, this can also be arranged (at a cost).
