The Cosy Inn, Bethesda - the gateway to Snowdonia
. Enjoy a getaway to north wales in this lovely compact little house, well located to explore all that the beautiful surrounding area has to offer. A cosy terraced quarryman's cottage with lots of rustic charm. Open plan bespoke kitchen and living room with beautiful woodwork and a big wood burner, ideal for relaxing in front of after a busy day exploring. Nice and light, nicely decorated with a main bedroom, small bedroom # and bathroom with bathtub upstairs. There is a little terraced garden out the back with a bbq. There is a stereo and a digital radio so you can listen to your favourite music, and you can plug in your laptop via the stereo for film nights. Small selection of DVD's, books and board games. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary cooking equipment, but please note - I do not have a microwave or a TV and the house do not have central heating but a log burner and oil heaters, 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs for the bedrooms. This house is in a great location for exploring the local area from, close to the the zip wire and a great starting point for mountain walks and cycling paths. Easy access to a55 and Anglesey with it's variety of stunning beaches. Parking available on the road and in the car parking spaces up the hill from the house. The main car park just below the house is mainly for residents on Gray street, so please try and park in the car aprk just up the steep hill. Very near to bus routes and shops are a 5 minute downhill walk away. Ideal for couples, families or friends. Respect the neighbors and feel at home! Provided is one bag of wood per night (more in the depth of winter!) It is important to know how to operate the wood burner, instructions are found in the house. Internet available, wifi and via ethernet cable. If you are sensitive to wifi I don't mind switching the wifi function off for your stay, just let me know! Happy to help with any questions or assistance, just get in touch! Residential neighborhood within walking distance of the high street. Just across the road is a big common with a play ground and car parking nearby. Pubs, restaurants and shops within five minutes walking distance and close to local swimming spots, bicycle path and walking routes. Stunning scenery all around the village, my favorite view in the world! A great mixture of people living in Bethesda and surrounding villages, there is a local venue for markets, cinemas, events and yoga classes, a pop up pizza night and a riverside festival. Salmon fishing in the river, natural swimming spots by the ogwen bank and all the stunning mountains and hillsides, constantly changing, always a feast for the eye and senses. There are bus routes running at the bottom/high street of the village and also on Carneddi road just above the house. Frequent and cheap they are a great way to get in to town. I will leave bus time tables in the house. Taxi phone numbers are left in the house. #The small bedroom is very small and the bed frame in it is a shortened futon bed frame. If you are very tall, this room might not be suitable for you so please bear this in mind. The garden is steep and can very slippery when it has rained so exercise caution. Also be aware that there is no railing at the top of the stairs indoors, so therefore the property is not toddler friendly. There is one electric oil heater, and two additional heaters in the bedrooms, feel free to use this when you are in the house but make sure to switch it off when you go out. I have done my very best to make sure that this listing and the property is as safe as possible. This cottage is by no means "standardized". The slate floor slabs are uneven, the back door is smaller than normal doors ( so mind your head) and the stairs are steep. By booking this listing you agree that you are responsible for your safety and everyone staying with you. I will not be held responsible for any personal injury of guests while staying in this property.
