Special Note: Please note that you need to book for the total number of guests that will be in the apartment at any time. Quiet hours must be respected and when in the atrium and in the apartment please ensure that there is no excessive anything…. Noise, banging etc. the next door neighbour will call the police if you violate the house rules and you will be asked to leave if the owner is called in. Sorry to have to add this as the majority of guests do the right thing but I cannot accept guests that allow people up and down at all hours disturbing the neighbours otherwise the body corporate will shut the apartment down from short term bookings. Guests have access to all facilities including: Private 1 Bedroom apartment located on level 4 Outdoor Private Balcony Outdoor Private Atrium Balcony Secure Car Parking for 1 vehicle included on level - 1.5 (take stairs to level B2 to access the lift, or walk up the ramp to level B1) I can be contacted via AirBnB messaging if you have any further enquiries regarding your stay This apartment is very central and close to: Braddon’s Central Cosmopolitan Cafes and Bars Canberra Centre and Canberra’s shopping district Canberra City Parliament House Lake Burley Griffin The Carillon The War Memorial Australian National University Botanical Gardens National Zoo and Aquarium National Museum Kingston Foreshore Braddon Club Lime - Gym - casual visits available Previous guests have recommended a number of eateries in the Braddon precinct: Frugii Dessert Laboratory Try to new tram line from Canberra city to Gungahlin - Myway card required available from most newsagents. The Elouera Station is right at your doorstep located on Northbourne Ave behind the Midnight Hotel. We have a great bus service or you could choose to book an Uber or taxi There is a secured underground car park should you choose to drive your car to Canberra, the clearance is 2.2 meters and the carspace is on level -1.5 directly at the bottom of the ramp between B1 and B2. Please contact the host with your check in time. If you know your sleep number for the main king bed please let me know and I will have the cleaner set the bed prior to your arrival. The bed is preset to 75 on the right and left side of the bed. The controller is not left onsite to ensure that the bed is not played with as it is a $4200 mattress. If sofa beds are required please let me know so that the linen can be made available for your stay. If there are 3-4 guests the cleaner will leave linen for 1 sofa bed. For 5-6 guests linen for both sofa beds will be left. NB. This is a 1 bedroom apartment that I have provided additional bedding options for. If you require more space than a 1 bedroom apartment can offer please look for a 2-3 bedroom that would better accomodate your needs. It is vitally important that you book for the correct number of guests staying as if it is booked for 1 guest it will be set up with linen and towels for 1 guest. Please note there is a strict “no drugs, no parties, no pets, no hair dying, no self tanning or making of curry” policy in this apartment including the balcony. If guests are found to have breached the house rules an additional minimum charge of $250 will apply. The no making curry rule has been added due to the extensive damage to cooking surfaces, kitchen cupboards and cookware by previous guests. A call in fee of $100 applies if guests lock themselves out of the apartment. An additional charge applies to all bookings where additional linen for sofas are required to cover the costs of cleaning additional linen if it exceeds the normal guest requirements as outlined above: King Size bed 1-2 guests King bed and Sofa bed setup for 3-4 guests Additional charge of $20 for 3rd sofa bed if guest numbers are below 5 applies. If guests are staying for longer than 14 days additional cleaning charges may apply: Guests can elect for a mini clean which includes changing all bedding and towels every 2 weeks $45/clean or a full apartment clean $70/clean (includes all linen changed over and cleaned). This ensures that the linen is maintained and kept in great condition as well as the apartment maintained in brand new condition. Please do not lose the garage remote/swipe and key - the estimated cost of replacing this is $350 per set and is the responsibility of the guest to keep secure and secure and locked in the letterbox on checkout. A fee is charged to guests if these are missing/lost/stolen. A noise detector, crowd sensor and alarm is fitted to this apartment. Please ensure that the correct number of guests are booked for. This is NOT a recording device but a back to base alarm device.
