Our tree-house, built by Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters, aired as the African Safari Hut. The professionally designed interior is filled with African artifacts. It was designed to be a writer's cottage for Skeeter who is an author and an African historian. Skeeter and Jacque love having guests stay at the treehouse, especially writers and artists looking for a retreat to work on their craft. With few exceptions, the treehouse is available for stays of 5 to 10 days. The treehouse has a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. There is a full shower and toilet in a separate building next to the treehouse. Tree-house, shower/bathroom, and garden center building. Guests are welcome to walk on the pathway surrounding the wooded property. Free Parking. We will send you detailed instructions on the stay including check-in and check out proceedures after booking. We will also provide instruction on how to find us from Hwy 18 and Interstate 5. There is no public transportation near our property. Your vehicle or a rental will be necessary to get here. There will be some drinks and some food snack options in the refigerator. The water in the Keurig is fresh; help yourself to coffee from any of the selections in the top shelf of the three tier basket-shelf under the counter. Silverware and extra cups are also located in the basket-shelf under the counter. The water dispenser, by the door, has both hot and cold water. Careful! The hot water is, surprisingly enough, hot. There is a beautiful shower and toilet building for guests to use near the treehouse. The small garden center building located next to the treehouse is free for you to use. Please sign the guestbook. We hope you enjoy the stay with us.
