Historic Pocket House at Lenart near Ljubljana

Perfect getaway pocket house for somebody who wants to relax in the middle of nature. Ancient restored house from 1827 is located in the hearth of Polhov Gradec Dolomites and can accommodate up to 7 guests. It is easily accessible by car, just 19 km from Ljubljana. An ideal starting point for hiking or traveling around Slovenia. You might think that time has stopped here! Country escape in the hills. Gaze at the stars. Read poetry by candlelight. Switch off your phone and reconnect with the people around you. Walk barefoot in the morning dew. Pick wildflowers. Learn how to identify birdsong. Tell ghost stories around the fire. Roll down a hill. Close your eyes and feel the warmth of the sun on your face. Happy escaping! Guests are able to access a dinning room, a kitchen, two sleeping rooms with balconys, a bathroom with a toilet and a separate toilet when there are a lot of guests. Bathroom is in a building next door, 10 m away from the pocket house. Both sleeping rooms have 1 double bed and 1 single bed. You can also get an additional mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped. You can access open-air dinning area with large table outside the house. We live about 20 min away and we will be available for anything you might need. We speak English, Serbian and Croatian, and understand a bit of Italian. We can teach you basic Slovenian :) The neighborhood is very calm, quiet and safe. The nearest neighbor lives about 20 – 30 m away. At the homestead are occasionally working some farm machines – tractors in the june and july. They can make some noise for an hour or two during the day. There is no grocery store or food market, pharmacy, library, bars, caffes, McDonald's, bank, cash machine or mailbox. About 2 km away there are 3 family-run restaurants with traditional slovenian food. Historic Pocket House at Lenart is located in Polhograjsko hribovje hills, easily accessible by car, just 18 km from center of Ljubljana. But, there is no public transportation.
