Situated on the Woodlands Holiday Park near Bryncrug (Gwynedd), this little gem has the benefit of stunning views due to its elevated positioning on the park. The chalet is based both in Snowdonia National Park as well as being a short drive away from two beautiful beaches in Tywyn (3.5 miles) and the beautiful village and of Aberdovey (6.7 miles away). Having a car is essential. This fantastic country feel chalet has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are two bedrooms and a kitchen/lounge/dining area. Please do note that we do not have showering facilities it is bath only. Outside there is a fenced off area for that alfresco dining. When the sun is shining this outside area, is a real sun trap. There are facilities on the Woodlands Holiday Park such as a laundry room. There is also an outside pool, games room and club house.(These are currently closed due to COVID-19). The drive way is very steep to get to the chalet so please be aware of this also, we would suggest that this is not suitable for a person with any mobility issues. There is a keysafe. Tywyn town is a 5 minute journey by car and has all the amenities you need such as a local CO-OP and a Spar, takeaways, restaurants and a beautiful beach (see photos) with a little arcade. Aberdovey is a 10 minute car journey, this beautiful seaside village is stunning. If you are a keen golfer Aberdovey has a golf course right next to the beautiful surroundings of the beach and hillside. If you like your walks there are lots to choose from, we especially love Dolgoch Falls which is a 2 minute car journey down the road and you can walk to some amazing waterfalls (see photos). If you are an adventure junkie why not book yourself into Zip world which is just over 1 hour car journey from the chalet, you can explore caverns or have an accelerating ride on velocity. Or if you love to fish why not book a fishing trip in Aberdovey, or hire paddle boards for an hour of fun. Car is essential. There is plenty of parking in Tywyn and Aberdovey. If you fancy a longer walk, you can park at Tywyn, walk along the beach to Aberdovey (4 miles), then get either a train or a bus back to Tywyn. (Please check train and bus times prior). The holiday park WIFI is available if you cannot get a signal from your own network provider. I believe the Holiday park give you access where you can choose 1 day which is £3.50 per day, or £8.50 per week per device. However we do have a dongle that you can connect to our dongle will give some internet signal. *Please note that there is not a shower in the bathroom, it is a bath only. We do have a small T.V that plays DVD's, we have some DVD's at the chalet but you may want to bring your own.
